Todoroki Athletics Stadium

The Todoroki Athletics Stadium opened in 1966 as part of a park facility, and has been used as a sports facility by city residents ever since. The stadium opened as a soccer field in 1982, and today it is the home ground for the Kawasaki Frontale, the City's club that competes in the J1 soccer league.

To date it has undergone many repairs and improvements, such as expansion of the stands, installation of a large color monitor, and complete coverage in grass, and it has been selected as the venue for the opening and semi-final games of the 3 rd American Football World Cup 2007 Kawasaki Japan to be held in July 2007.
