Group Name	Ma-Kiss The group's name was coined from a method of fashioning gemstones into an oval shape much like an American Football―the “marquise brilliant cut”.
Members	Members were selected from students attending the Avex Artist Academy.

The group met with the Mayor of Kawasaki on October 5th 2006 and openly talked about their ambitions to “bring even more excitement to World Cup games”. The group has also had the privilege to premier their official theme song "Light" at the half time show of an exhibition game held at the Tokyo Dome on October 16th and attended by approximately ten thousand Kawasaki residents. Look for the group to be making other appearances at PR events for the 2007 World Cup in and around Kawasaki and of course keep an eye out for their crowd-pumping performances in the halftime shows of World Cup games.
