  Kawasaki strives to promote a positive image of the city and prompt a spillover effect into society and the economy through a variety of approaches, including promotion through music, film, and sports.

Furthermore, the city encourages all of its citizens to take full advantage of the enjoyment that the Tama River offers, promoting measures based on the Tama River Plan that aim for the creation of lovely riverside areas.

Kawasaki strives to develop a rich urban environment in which various aspects of society coexist through cultural and art activities throughout its communities.
