Kawasaki's Teacher Training Program aims to enhance and further develop professional teaching abilities of the city's school teachers.

The city is making joint efforts with regional administrations to strength the childcare and education systems for both adults and school children in the local communities in hopes of instilling confidence in its citizens that Kawasaki provides the most adequate environment for bringing up our future generations.

In creating a city where one can give birth and raise a child in relative ease, the city encourages its residents to select freely and make full use of its various comprehensive childcare assistance programs established to eliminate the uneasiness and burden associated with childcare.

In addition, by providing children with a number of opportunities to experience work, play, and learning in the local community, city and parent alike will be able to respond to the special needs and personality of each child, establishing a wholesome environment for children to grow soundly and healthily.

Among its diverse person-to-person connections maintained between families, the community, and schools, the city promotes education that, while aiming to respect the inherent rights of children, improves the health and strength, develops a rich human character, and ensures academic progress and achievement for all children.
