In order to maintain a pristine natural environment for future generations, the city makes every effort to protect and develop its precious forest and green resources, such as the Tama Hills area. Also, the city plans to further develop its park system and forest areas through the collaboration of residents and city government for the purpose of creating attractive places of recreation and relaxation. Furthermore, the city will establish policies that protect its agricultural lands, which are important to preserving the surrounding environment and natural resources.



Higashi-Takane Forest Park Working together with citizens on flower transplantation in the area outside the east exit of Kawasaki Station. Development of the Agricultural Park located in Kurokawa area, which will serve as a place for citizens to gain first-hand experience with nature and agriculture.
