Tenant Application Guide
Eligible Applicant
A non-Japanese citizen who is looking to start a new business, A newly established foreign firm, A foreign university, A foreign R&D institution.
Scope of Business/Research
Environmental technology, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, Robotics, New raw materials, etc.
General Requirements
*A business plan for three years minimum after date of lease.
*To be evident of partnership or co-working within Kawasaki.
*To be eligible to acquire an approval or a permission for applicable regulations/laws.
Application and Documents
Following documents are reuired to submit to the City of Kawasaki at least one and half month prior to date of lease. A tenant application form, A business plan, A personal history, An affidavit and certification of eligibility of residence. Examination.
After investigation by the Tenant Investigation Committee, a tenant contract shall be signed off by the City and a tenant.
Special Incentives
Tenant fee of the first year and second year from start date will be discounted respectively.
Tenant Support Programs
A consultation service or assistance program about followings are provided.
Business management practice and engineering matters, Procedures to establish a company, Financial loan accommodation , Sales channel deployment, Business matching between an academic and industry sector, Human resource training and development, Business exchange, Public relations or Advertisement.
Withdrawal of Agreement
The City of Kawasaki reserves a right to void a tenant contract when a tenant carries in different business area from the business plan or causes a significant problem to a neighbor.
