Getting a Medical Examination

The Health and Social Welfare Center offers a range of different kinds of medical check-ups. Inquire with the Center’s Community Health and Social Welfare Section for details on who is eligible and on what days the checkups are offered.

General Check-up
Individuals aged 65 and older, as well as persons 40 and 50 years of age, will be notified of available times by mail.
Individuals between the ages of 40 and 64 will not be sent notification, but they are eligible for these checkups.
Stomach cancer screening (40 and up)
Cervical/uterine cancer screening (Individuals 20 and up whose ages end in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 0 (e.g. 22, 34, 46, 50, 58, etc.)
Lung cancer screening (40 and up)
Breast cancer screening (Individuals 40 and up whose ages end in 2, 4, 6, 8, and 0 (e.g. 40, 44, 46, 50, 52, etc.)
Large intestine cancer（40 and up）
Gynecological exam（for women 18-39）
