Water

Notify the Asao Waterworks Service Office to have your water turned off at the residence from which you are moving. Do so five days before you move.

You can also give notification via the Internet at Net Information Center Kawasaki or by mobile phone at http://www.net-sinsei.city.kawasaki.jp/k/.

 

Electricity

Contact the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) Kanagawa Customer Center to have your electricity turned off when you move, and to have service turned on at your new residence.

Gas

If you are using city gas (Tokyo Gas), you need to contact the Tokyo Gas Customer Center to have the valve closed.

Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9:00-19:00

You can have a technician come to close the valve on Sundays and holidays (9:00-17:00), as well as on weekdays and Saturdays (9:00-19:00).

Contact Tokyo Gas at your earlier convenience (at least one week prior to your move).
You can also ask via the Internet for a technician to come over to your house to close the valve, at the Tokyo Gas Website.

If your residence has propane gas, contact the propane gas company.

 

Telephone Service

To have your telephone line moved to another location, dial 116, or visit the NTT East Virtual Shop Website.

The NTT East Information takes inquiries in English, Mandarin, Korean, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
