What to Do if a Fire Breaks Out

Dial 119 to call a fire truck.
There is no charge for having a fire truck come.
Be sure to provide the following information when you call.

  • Location of the fire (address and nearby landmarks, etc.)
  • Your name
  • Severity of the fire
  • Whether or not anyone has been injured

Alert other people in the neighborhood of the fire by loudly shouting “Fire!”
