You are required to show proof of earnings in a variety of situations, such as when you apply for a change in visa status, enrolling your child in a nursery school, applying for public housing, and so on.
This document can be obtained at the Taxation Section of the ward office.

Tax Withholding Slip

Your tax withholding slip shows your earnings and the amount of income tax paid over the period of January through December of each year.
This document is issued by your company.
If you leave the company, it should be sent to you within a month of your resignation.
The document serves as proof of the amount of tax paid, and it is required when you renew your visa, etc. Keep it in a safe place.
