Question.
I would like to know about the income limit for Program of Medical Expense Subsidy for Children.
Answer.
There is an income limit for the applicant (guardian) regarding the children of over one year.
・Applicant's (guardian) income for the calendar year subject to screening has to be less than the
limit amount as a condition to receive aid.
・As a rule, either parent (mother or father) with a higher income (whom family's livelihood trusts on) can be an applicant.
・Proof for taxation calendar year will differ based on the applying month. (refer to FAQ 3400 for details)
