This is an outdoor museum which has a purpose of preserving old Japanese houses disappearing rapidly.

| Getting there | By Train: Take an Odakyu-line train to "Mukogaoka-Yuen" station. Go out of South exit and take a 12 minute walk. By Car: From Tomei highway, turn left at an exit of Kawasaki interchange, and turn right at the cross-section of "Inuzo" and go straight about 10 minutes. From Setagaya-Machida line road, turn to the direction of Kawasaki at "Tama Keisatsusho Mae" sign, turn right at the cross-section of "Inao-Bashi" and go straight about 2 minutes. From Kawasaki-Nakahara Kaido road, turn at the cross-section of "Inao-Bashi" and go straight about 2 minutes. Parking lots are limited, so it is recommended to use trains on Sundays or Holidays as there are many visitors. |
