Kawasaki is home to many R&D institutions and incubation facilities including the KING Skyfront area, Techno Hub INnovation Kawasaki (THINK), the Shin-Kawasaki Sozo no Mori, and the Kanagawa Science Park. Throughout Kawasaki there are about 400 R&D institutes that form a foundation for industrial promotion and innovation.
