オーストリア・ザルツブルク市長から市制100周年の祝賀メッセージをいただきました

令和6(2024)年7月1日の川崎市制100周年にあたり、友好都市であるオーストリア共和国・ザルツブルク市のベルンハルト・アウインガー(Bernhard Auinger)市長から祝賀のメッセージ動画をいただきました。

Ladies and gentlemen, dear guests, and citizens of Kawasaki City, on behalf of the people of Salzburg and as the Mayor of Salzburg, I extend warm congratulations to you as you celebrate your remarkable milestone-the 100th anniversary of Kawasaki City. 

A century ago your city was born and since then it has strived and would become a city of culture narration in the community spirit. We are especially delighted to celebrate alongside you, as our cities share a special bond. 

Since 1992, Salzburg and Kawasaki has been sister cities connected by friendship, culture, exchange around the Salzburg Festival. Various events in each cities, many visits of the delegations, and a lot of respect for each other was celebration has enriched both communities fostering understanding in the goodwill across the borders. 

May your city continue to flourish embracing diversity, sustainability, progress; may your citizens find joy in every sunrise. 

To Kawasaki City, I raise my glass with wish all the best and hope that many of citizens will visit the City of Salzburg. You are always welcome here in the heart of Europe. 

Congratulations Kawasaki may your colors, future, and actions shine brightly for another 100 years and beyond.

川崎市は100年前に誕生し、それ以来、地域社会の精神に根ざした文化発信都市を目指して取り組んできました。両市は特別な絆で結ばれており、このような記念すべき年を共に祝うことができ、大変嬉しく思います。

ザルツブルク市と川崎市は1992年以来、ザルツブルク音楽祭を中心として友好、文化、交流で結ばれた姉妹都市です。それぞれの都市でのさまざまなイベント、多くの代表団の訪問、そして互いへの尊敬の念が、国境を越えた親善の中で理解を育み、両市のコミュニティを豊かにしてきました。

川崎市が、多様性や持続可能性、成長を受け入れながら、これからも繁栄し続けますように。市民が毎日に喜びを見出されますように。
