オーストラリア・ウーロンゴン市長から市制100周年の祝賀メッセージをいただきました

令和6(2024)年7月1日の川崎市制100周年にあたり、姉妹都市であるオーストラリア・ウーロンゴン市のゴードン・ブラッドベリー(Gordon Bradbery AM)市長から祝賀のメッセージ動画をいただきました。

Congratulations to Kawasaki on the celebration of your 100th anniversary. Also I just want to say hi to my very special friend, Mayor Fukuda. 

We have a great relationship between our 2 cities. Our sister city relationship goes back to 1988, and it’s been one of those wonderful moments has been continued on over time and transitioned into other opportunities like cultural, exchange and learning, but our residents have benefited greatly from that connection and I trust your city has as well.

両市の間には素晴らしい関係があります。私たちの姉妹都市関係は1988年までさかのぼりますが、それは素晴らしい瞬間であり、時が経つにつれて継続され、文化、交流、教育など他の機会へと発展してきました。そして、両市の住民はそのつながりから大きな恩恵を受けてきました。

今日の川崎を築き上げた皆さんのご努力に心から敬意を表します。
