クロアチア・リエカ市長から市制100周年の祝賀メッセージをいただきました

令和6(2024)年7月1日の川崎市制100周年にあたり、姉妹都市であるクロアチア・リエカ市のマルコ・フィリポヴィッチ(Marko Filipović)市長から祝賀のメッセージ動画をいただきました。

Dear Mayor Fukuda, dear friends of Kawasaki, on behalf of the City of Rijeka and its people I am happy to congratulate you and the people of Kawasaki of the 100th anniversary of your city.

The special anniversary shows the rich history, culture and great achievements of Kawasaki over the past 100 years. Your city has grown into a lively and sustainable place inspiring cities around the world. 

The friendship and cooperation between Kawasaki and Rijeka have lasted nearly 50 years and brought us much pride and mutual benefit. As we celebrate with you, we look forward to continue and improving the partnership in the future. 

May Kawasaki keep growing, and prosper bringing happiness and well-being to all its residents. Once again, congratulations on the historical achievement. Here’s to a bright and promising future for Kawasaki.
